Raymond Vineyards, Rutherford, Napa Valley. I was a bit concerned at first. I was not sure if I was entering a big top tent (I am not keen on circuses). The feeling did not go away when I entered the Cabernet Sauvignon tasting room (the tasting I choose to buy "Crystal Experience") with a manikin acrobat nearly above me. However, once the tasting started, all my fears were gone with the very professional and informative tasting. The 2014 Chardonnay (restrained oak) US$75 and the Atlas Peak, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, US$55, were very good. My favourite was the 2014 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon (also 100% CS). A complex wine with sweet fruit, ripe Tannins with medium+ Acidity and Long Finish US$125. P.S. The tasting fee was waived once they knew I was trade. Thank you!
